Centacare Employment and Training is a not-for-profit, registered training organisation, (RTO), established in 1976.
This year we celebrate 40 years, (1976 – 2016), fulfilling our vision of ‘transforming lives through education training and employment’.
During the course of our history, we have emerged as a leading provider of flexible education courses and fully accredited industry training programs, specifically for:
- Young people aged between 15 and 24 and not fully engaged in education, training or employment; and
- Mature age people who are either culturally and linguistically diverse, (CaLD) or who identify the English language, literacy and/or numeracy as a barrier to entering the workforce.
Our evolution is characterised by milestones in our strategic approach, influenced by a variety of internal and external factors. Take a look at ‘Stars in our Midst’, a booklet that celebrates the first 30 years of Centacare’s journey.
