Centacare Nominated for PCYC Partnership Award

Centacare Nominated for PCYC Partnership Award

We are very proud to announce that Centacare Employment and Training was nominated for the Partnership Award (Metropolitan) by Gosnells PCYC at the organisation’s Awards Night on Friday 21st July. The Partnership Award recognises effective working partnerships between WA PCYC and organisations over the 2016/17 financial year.

Centacare was nominated for our partnership with PCYC in delivering Project Stepping Stones, a certified numeracy and literacy program for Year 11 and 12 students who are disengaged from mainstream education.

Centacare assisted Gosnells PCYC by providing RTO status for the program, supplying resources required for certification and qualified teachers to deliver the program.

Project Stepping Stones provides students with competencies towards their Certificate in General Education for Adults and has been designed specifically to assist young people by providing a positive and productive pathway for them to transition in the future.

The program caters for many needs and can provide students with the tools required to transition back into formal education, training or employment in the future.

We are very proud to have been nominated and gladly accepted a Certificate of High Recognition from WA PCYC to celebrate our effective working partnership and the success of Project Stepping Stones.
